French Bulldog puppies for sale

We are a USDA-licensed breeder (licence #43-A-0912) in Waxhaw, NC, running a small French Bulldog program from our home. Every parent is tested for OFA cardiac, OFA patella, OFA spine, Embark DNA panel, BOAS grading before a mating, every puppy leaves with a full vet record and a written health guarantee, and we publish the breed’s genuine downsides on this page rather than after you have paid a deposit. We deliver French Bulldog puppies to all 50 states — driven to your door or flown in the cabin with a flight nanny, never as cargo.

What a French Bulldog will need from you

The parts other listings leave out. If any of this is a dealbreaker, that is a good outcome for both of us.

  • Breathing

Frenchies are brachycephalic. Our parents are BOAS-graded and our puppies have open nares, but this will never be a running partner.

  • Heat

They cannot regulate temperature. Above 24°C they need shade, water and air conditioning. Heatstroke kills this breed every summer.

  • Flying

A Frenchie must never fly cargo — the breed is banned from it for good reason. Ours travel by road or in the cabin with a flight nanny, and the same rule applies if you relocate later.

  • Water

They cannot swim — the build sinks them. An unfenced pool is a fatal hazard.

  • Lifetime cost

Budget $1,800–$3,000 a year. Insurance runs $90–$160 a month and pre-existing conditions are excluded.

  • Surgery odds

Around 1 in 4 need soft-palate or nares surgery ($2,000–$5,500). Allergies and skin-fold care are near-universal.

French Bulldog questions, answered

How much does a French Bulldog puppy cost?
Our French Bulldog puppies currently range from $4,400 to $7,175 across the 25 listed right now; each puppy's price depends on colour, coat, size and sex. The fee always includes the full vet exam, vaccinations to date, deworming, microchip registration and our written health guarantees, and that nothing is added afterwards. Budget $1,800-$3,000 a year after purchase. Pet insurance for the breed runs $90-$160 a month, and around 1 in 4 French Bulldogs need soft-palate or nares surgery costing $2,000-$5,500.
How big does a French Bulldog get?
Most adult French Bulldogs weigh 16-28 lb and stand 11-13 inches at the shoulder. Fluffy-coat Frenchies are the same size as smooth-coat ones; the coat is the only difference.
Do French Bulldogs shed? Are they hypoallergenic?
French Bulldogs shed moderately, more in spring and autumn, and are not suitable for most people with dog allergies. A weekly brush keeps it manageable.
Are your French Bulldog parents health tested?
Yes. Every parent in this program is tested for OFA cardiac, OFA patella, OFA spine, Embark DNA panel, BOAS grading before any mating. Results are issued by the testing body - OFA and Embark - not by us, and we link to their public result pages so you can verify each one yourself rather than take our word for it.
What are the downsides of owning a French Bulldog?
Breathing: Frenchies are brachycephalic. Our parents are BOAS-graded and our puppies have open nares, but this will never be a running partner. Heat: They cannot regulate temperature. Above 24°C they need shade, water and air conditioning. Heatstroke kills this breed every summer. Flying: A Frenchie must never fly cargo — the breed is banned from it for good reason. Ours travel by road or in the cabin with a flight nanny, and the same rule applies if you relocate later. Water: They cannot swim — the build sinks them. An unfenced pool is a fatal hazard. Lifetime cost: Budget $1,800–$3,000 a year. Insurance runs $90–$160 a month and pre-existing conditions are excluded. Surgery odds: Around 1 in 4 need soft-palate or nares surgery ($2,000–$5,500). Allergies and skin-fold care are near-universal. We publish this before anyone pays a deposit because we would rather lose the sale than place a puppy in a home that was never told.
Are you a licensed French Bulldog breeder?
Yes. We hold USDA Class A licence #43-A-0912 and NC kennel permit #NC-1188, and the USDA licence is searchable on their public register under that number. We are based in Waxhaw, NC, visits are by appointment, and we would rather you came.
How do I know a French Bulldog listing is not a scam?
Check four things on any breeder, including us. First, can you see the parents on a live video call - a seller who will not show you the mother is the single biggest warning sign in this industry. Second, is there a verifiable licence number. Third, do the payment details come from the breeder's own domain, and can you confirm them by phone before you send anything: the Better Business Bureau reports that pet scams make up roughly a quarter of all online shopping fraud, and most end with a deposit sent to details nobody verified. Fourth, reverse-image-search the photos. Our payment details only ever come from an @petbuddyhub.com address, and we will confirm them on (704) 555-0188 before you pay.
Do you ship French Bulldog puppies to my state?
Yes - we deliver French Bulldog puppies to all 50 states. Within about 600 miles of Waxhaw, NC a staff member drives the puppy to your door; further away, a flight nanny flies with the puppy in the cabin and hands over at your nearest major airport. You can also collect in person. We never ship puppies as air cargo. The delivery fee is quoted per puppy in the information pack.
What guarantee comes with a French Bulldog puppy?
Three. A 10-day health guarantee: have your own vet examine the puppy within ten days, and if they find any congenital problem you choose between a full refund or us covering treatment up to the purchase price. A 2-year genetic guarantee covering hereditary conditions diagnosed before the second birthday. And a lifetime take-back - if you ever cannot keep the dog, at any age and for any reason, they come back to us at no fee.
